The Centennial Pavilion at the south side of the park is available for public use.
Wilbur, WA Pool
Across from the creek is the Wilbur public swimming pool. It is open throughout the summer months, and for a small fee visitors can take advantage of the opportunity for a refreshing swim. The pool features a diving board on the west end as well as a wading pool for younger children on the east end.

Rental clubs & cars are available & lessons can be provided for novice golfers. There is also a nice clubhouse for a place to relax and enjoy a cool drink or a bite to eat.
Grand Coulee Dam
Just 21 miles North of Wilbur you will find the Grand Coulee Dam. Almost 1 mile across the top, Grand Coulee Dam has three important functions: irrigation, power production and flood control. Interestingly enough, electricity was not foreseen as a primary function when the dam was built. Today, however the three powerhouses at Grand Coulee Dam have a total capacity of 6,809 megawatts, making this dam the largest hydro-electric producer in the United States.
Stop in at the US Bureau of Reclamation's Visitor Center just north of Coulee Dam on Highway 155, or call the visitors center at 509-633-9265 to inquire about a tour. The Dam also offers nightly laser light shows with laser light pictures nearly 300 feet high telling the story of the Columbia River and how its power was harnessed.
Lake Roosevelt
Named in honor of the 32nd USA President, Franklin D. Roosevelt Lake is the reservoir formed from the mighty waters of the Columbia River behind the Grand Coulee Dam. This huge, wonderful lake has a shoreline of 660 miles and extends 151 miles upstream to the Canadian border. Offering year-round fishing, rainbow and kokanee trout as well as walleye and smallmouth bass can give a thrill to the delighted fisherman. In the summer months, trolling is most successful and in the cooler months, bank & still fishing is popular.
Banks Lake
If you are looking for bass, perch or walleye, Banks Lake is regarded as one of the finest fishing lakes in the state. Banks has a growing reputation for bass tournaments.
Hunting the Coulee
The coulee has much to offer the sportsman in pursuit of fur, feathers or horns. Coulee country encompasses many acres of state and federal land that offer free hunting. Write to the Department of Natural Resources, Olympia, for information and maps of the area. Or visit one of the local businesses advertising hunting licenses.
FYI: A "coulee" is a geological term meaning a ravine or deep gully, usually dry, which has been cut by the water.
